Drew Bartels; Piano and Keyboards

Drew was born on April 3rd, 1986 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Drew has lived in Colorado his whole life. He has always had a love for sports and continues to engage in various sports. At the ripe age of 17, Drew finally found the bass guitar! He won the Louie Armstrong award in Jazz Band his senior year. But one day when he sat down at the piano, he realized he found his new love.

Drew studied music for 1 year at Azusa Pacific university in California. He then moved back to Colorado and started taking lessons and hanging out with the Abandonato guys. The band realized his talent quickly and asked him to start playing secondary keyboards. He is now the band's primary pianist and keyboardist. Drew currently studies piano under Steve Barta in Colorado Springs.

Drew Uses and Abuses: Drew prefers the sound of Steinway Pianos but has been unable to acquire one. He currently uses a Baldwin. For keyboards he uses a Yamaha Motif ES8 88-Key Music Production Synthesizer
